In each book, we explore Jo’s world. What does he play with? What does he eat at teatime? What does he need for his bath? And what is his bedtime routine? The child is then asked a series of questions about the book (Do you have a teddy? How many colours can you see?), giving the adult and child a chance to discuss and become completely involved in the book, so that the child learns and develops as they’re reading.
