Paul Stickland lives in a friendly stone hamlet in South Somerset, along with his five sons and wife. The extended family also includes an ancient smelly lurcher, two cats, a black and a spotty one, and Taffy and Nutty, two near toothless old much-loved ponies. When trying to escape from his studio, Paul will be found gardening, tinkering with his old Series One Land Rover, playing the guitar with his mates, fiddling about with old buildings, travelling in Italy and America and the wonderful green lumpy bits that surround him in the South West of England.
