Mauro Evangeliasta was born in Macerata of Italy in 1963. He studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Venice and has illustrated several children books. His work was exhibited at the Bologna Book Fair, at the Biennale of Bratislava and he won the Special Prize of Illustration (Ill batello a vapore) in Verbania. He also teaches painting and illustration to children in schools.
