I was born on the10th of September, 1973 in Zagreb ,Croatia .
At the age of eighteen I won the Golden Award for my first picture book «A Special Day» at the «Written and Illustrated by..» competition sponsored by Landmark Editions in the USA.
Publishing of «A Special Day» was the real beginning of my career as a children's book illustrator.
I have studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, USA and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia where I got my degree as a painting major.
Since then I have illustrated more then 30 picture books and for some of them I even wrote the stories.My book could be found in Europe, Australia, Japan and the USA.
I live and work in Zagreb, Croatia with my husband, little baby boy Marko and our puppy and enjoy the most travelling and watching wildlife.
I was a Croatian candidate for the best illustrated book at the IBBY honour list for 2004 and particiapted Bratislava bienalle of illustrations and Bienalle of European and Asian illustrations in Japan.
I am also an author of the UNICEF cards and posters and my bigest dream is a peacful and happy childhood for every child in the world.
