Elizabeth Walton and Marie Thom were both in senior management posts in teaching, before leaving their careers to become full time mums. They have four children, two cats and two goldfish between them! They dutifully took their children to a Parent & Toddler group, which is how they met. Having become friends, Elizabeth & Marie started to help out at the toddler group and eventually ended up running it. They wanted to encourage the toddlers to do simple paper crafts, so set about creating one each week - once a teacher always a teacher! After two years of doing this they organised all the crafts into themed books, and the series 'Little Fingers' was born. Still in teacher mode they included extension activities for the slightly older child too. They now claim they can make a craft of anything!
