Having grown up in a creative household surrounded by art and artists, Amanda never really considered doing anything else. She lives with her son and daughter in a cottage on the Somerset / Dorset border, close to the patterns of the past evident in the landscape that inspires much of her work. Using an unusual torn paper collage technique, children’s books allow her a wonderful opportunity to indulge a passion for colour and pattern.
